Angels Among Us

Last night really fostered my faith in humanity! I felt like I was having an asthma attack, and I reached out for help from a neighbor. She didn’t hesitate to help me! The rest of the neighborhood also showed their support! I’m so touched, tears are streaming down my face! In this situation with COVID-19 running rampant among us, I have always been taught to not fear, but look for the angels in any difficult situation!

My first sentence probably begged the question as to what happened that it fostered my faith in humanity.

Last night, I felt like I was having an asthma attack, and I got panicky. I didn’t want to wake my husband up, as he had to get up at 3am for work. He only got 3 hours of sleep last night, because all he cared about is making sure I was OK, and getting me home safe. We made vows ‘in sickness and in health’, and we strive to live out those vows every single day! I love him just as much, if not more than when we first got married.

I still felt bad waking him up to go to the ER, so a neighbor took me in. Again, always look for the angels! The nurses and doctor were kind, merciful, gentle and understanding. I felt very taken care of, and I felt safe and loved! Faith in humanity strengthened! God bless those on our front lines, and those angels who make a positive difference in this pandemic!

We are invincible! We will prevail, and we will bounce back stronger than before! Be still and know that He is God, and He is still on His throne! (Psalm 46:10)
